About the painting : 

This series of meditation paintings are a contemporary interpretation of the traditional thangka style, blending ancient symbolism with modern sensibilities. At its center lies a large, slightly egg-shaped circle, adorned with multiple concentric circles, all connected, each layer unveiling deeper layers of meaning.

The vibrant red hue at the heart of the painting symbolizes the essence of life itself, a potent source from which all existence emanates. This central motif, reminiscent of a tit or access well, embodies the primal energy and vitality that courses through the universe

Contrasting this focal point is a straight line descending into a square, a representation of the masculine and earthly symbol. This juxtaposition speaks to the interplay between feminine and masculine forces, the dynamic equilibrium essential for creation and balance.

Throughout the canvas, shades of reddish blood colors saturate the space, evoking a visceral and raw atmosphere. This palette serves as a reminder of the inherent connection between life and death, growth and decay, highlighting the cyclical nature of existence.
