ICELAND LAVA SERIES

On March 19 2021 a volcanic eruption started in the Geldingadalir valley at the Fagradalsfjall mountain on the Reykjanes peninsula, South-West Iceland. Since then, artist Zarina Karapetyan has been planning a series of erupting lava inspired works to create on site of the lava field and complete in Iceland this early winter.
